Dr. Lin joined the division of gastroenterology at the Arizona Health Sciences Center at the University of Arizona Health Network (UAHN) in Tucson in August 2010. He obtained his medical degree from Rush Medical College, completed his Internal Medicine training at University of Southern California, followed by gastroenterology training at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Lin had a long interest in molecular biology research. This ranged from the study of a novel cancer marker during college, to hepatocellular carcinoma and colon adenocarcinoma therapy during residency, then to Crohn’s disease pathogenesis involving the process of autophagy during fellowship.
Dr. Lin practices all aspects of general gastroenterology, with an interest in taking care of inflammatory bowel disease patients. In addition, he has interests in the development and testing of novel luminal GI endoscopic imaging and therapeutic techniques.
